Elements: A Universal Interior System

A Modern and Functional Solution for Any Space

The Elements system is a versatile and innovative interior solution designed by Olga Shchukina and Liubov Borisovskaya. With its simple shapes and familiar materials, this universal interior system is suitable for all space styles, making it a perfect addition to any home.

The wardrobe is a vital part of our daily routine, where our day begins and ends. It is the space that connects us with the outside world, where we choose our outfits for new achievements while enjoying the comfort and tranquility of our homes. Recognizing the importance of this space, the designers set out to create a storage system that not only serves its purpose but also adds beauty to any room in the house.

The standout feature of the Elements system is its "open showcase" concept. Unlike traditional wardrobes with blind partitions that obscure light and create a sense of a warehouse, this system provides free access to storage while maintaining a visually open and light-filled environment. The absence of doors allows for an immediate view and quick retrieval of items, creating a boutique-like experience within your own home.

What sets the Elements system apart is its modern language of forms and functional, human-oriented design. The designers have carefully considered the principles of sustainability throughout the production process, using wood as the primary material. Wood, being a universally accepted material, not only adds a touch of elegance but also promotes environmental consciousness and human health. The wood is coated with an ecological color oil, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal.

The design of the Elements system is characterized by its elegant and pure geometry. The perfect connection of the parts at a 45-degree angle creates a visually pleasing aesthetic. Additionally, all elements are supplied fully ready for installation, making assembly quick and hassle-free. The modular design allows for easy replacement of elements without the need to disassemble the entire system, providing flexibility and adaptability to changing needs.

Technical specifications of the Elements system include dimensions of 40*350*2350 mm, 640*355*2410 mm, and 880*600*2410 mm, catering to various room sizes and storage requirements.

The designers conducted extensive research to ensure the system's ergonomic functionality. Elements such as the lower elements are hung at a height of 100 mm from the floor, allowing for easy cleaning of the room. Clothes rods are installed at two different heights to accommodate garments of varying lengths. The highest hanger is placed at a height of 2240 mm, ensuring easy accessibility for individuals of average height. The top shelf provides additional storage space for boxes, even in rooms with ceilings not exceeding 2500 mm.

The Elements system has overcome creative, technical, and research challenges to offer a unique and practical solution. Wood, being a timeless and versatile material, inspired the designers to explore new ideas and possibilities. The diversity of wood's natural characteristics serves as a constant source of inspiration for the Elements system.

In recognition of its exceptional design and functionality, the Elements system was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2022. This prestigious award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. The Elements system stands out for its integration of industry best practices, competent technical characteristics, and contribution to a better world.

The Elements system is a testament to the designers' commitment to creating a universal interior solution that seamlessly blends form and function. With its elegant design, sustainable materials, and adaptability to any space, the Elements system is the perfect choice for those seeking a modern and functional storage solution.
